A socio-political group known as the PBAT Door-2-Door Movement has announced plans to mobilize over 10 million Nigerians across the country in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027. The group disclosed that its Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, will lead the grassroots campaign effort.

At a press conference held in Abuja and signed by the group’s protem National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi, the movement stated that Tompolo’s influence and grassroots appeal will be instrumental in drumming up national support for President Tinubu.

“We are confident that with High Chief Tompolo spearheading this movement, we can reach every ward, every street, and every home across Nigeria to promote President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Adekanbi said. “Tompolo’s leadership will engage political stakeholders, traditional rulers, and the general public in a coordinated campaign that unites Nigerians under a common vision.”

The group described Tinubu as a reformer who, in just two years, has repositioned Nigeria on the path of economic recovery, political stability, and global relevance.

“From Lagos to Maiduguri, Warri to Kano, the impact of the Tinubu administration is already being felt. The President’s courage to implement tough reforms, his inclusive governance style, and the depth of his policies have earned him the support of well-meaning Nigerians,” Adekanbi added.

Highlighting key milestones of the Tinubu administration, the group said the achievements cut across sectors. These include:

The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which has supported over 500,000 students with interest-free loans;

Digital skills training for more than 100,000 youths;

Removal of the fuel subsidy, saving Nigeria $10 billion annually;

Stabilization of the naira through economic reforms, with Q1 2025 government revenue hitting N6 trillion;

Improved oil production now at 1.61 million barrels per day and over $8 billion in new investments;

Growth in power generation from 4,000MW to 6,000MW;

Revitalization of over 1,000 Primary Healthcare Centres and expanded health insurance for 20 million Nigerians;

A strengthened agriculture sector through the N100 billion National Agricultural Development Fund;

Social welfare schemes like the Conditional Cash Transfer Programme reaching 70 million citizens;

And landmark gains in security, including the rescue of over 11,000 kidnap victims and the neutralization of 13,500 criminals.

The group also praised the Supreme Court’s ruling on local government autonomy, describing it as “a judicial victory for grassroots governance.”

The PBAT Door-2-Door Movement called on Nigerians across political, ethnic, and religious lines to join the campaign and ensure continuity of the current administration’s development agenda.

“Our goal is not just political victory; it is to sustain a national rebirth. With President Tinubu at the helm and Tompolo mobilizing the base, we believe Nigeria can achieve its full potential,” the group concluded.
