LANDLORD. ENGINEER ON THE  RUN AS FOUR STORY BUILDING  COLLAPSED IN ABUJA.

A four storey building collapsed in Prince And Princess  Estate in Abuja on Sunday. 

The collapse  occurred around 4.00pm .

It is not clear if people  were inside the uncompleted building. 

The security man guarding the building  identified as Musa said  he went out to visit some friends in the morning and by the time he came back the house had collapsed. 

Men of the Federal fire service,  Apo District came around to see for themselves and for possible evacuation if people were in the building. 

Fire service officer Amadu Musa who spoke to Thisnigeria said they  were still looking for the whereabout of the Engineer  in charge of the building  and the landlord  who have probably absconded upon hearing the  collapse. 

Amadu said looking at the building  it was clear it was as a result  of substandard building  materials  and poor foundation.  

As at the time of writing  this report it was still not clear if there were people  trapped in the building  or not.From Vincent Egunyanga,  Abuja
