……..SAYS THEY WILL NEVER GIVE AMAECHI TICKET

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT) Nyesom Wike has called on Nigerians to reject the African Democratic Congress ( ADC) as according to him, they do not have anything to offer the country.
Speaking on a Television programme in Abuja on Tuesday, Nyesom Wike said the ADC members had opportunities in past, when they were in government but could not rescue they country but are boasting now that they want to rescue the country.
Reacting to the promise by the former Minister of Transportation Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi that if he became President of Nigeria he would end corruption within one month, Wike said ” how can you fight corruption without the rule of law.”
He said ” what can be more corrupt when you don’t obey the rule of law, without adherence to the rule of law”.
He said as a former Governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi refused the Judiciary to operate.
” The Judiciary didn’t operate for two years, people had cases in court, but the court was shut down for two years “.
He said Amaechi refused to obey the National Judicial Council and the Judicial Service Commission, the apex bodies charged with appointments, promotions and discipline of Judicial officers.
He said how can Amaechi claim he will kill corruption within one month, “someone indicted by the Judicial Commission of enquiry in Rivers state for misappropriation of various sums of money, including thirty million dollars ($30m) Karibi Whyte Hospital that is not existing, Seventy four billion Naira (N74b) monorail that is not completed , over three hundred and eight million dollars ( $308m ) not accounted for among others.
He also said when former governor of Cross River State Liyel Imoke was Minister of Power billions of money in foreign currency was spent on power but could not deliver.
” Those are the people that says they want to deliver Nigeria and fight corruption “.
He said the results of the last weekend by election has shown that Nigeria has already rejected the so called coalition.
